The Hawkweed genus contains, among others, several species, that are very difficult to differentiate from each other and which are therefore subsumed as so called aggregates (agg.).

~~~
Purkyne's Hawk Weed, an endemic of the Sudeten Mountains, was a member of the aggregate of the Gombense Hawk Weed (Hieracium gombense (Lagger & Christener) agg.).
This form is now deemed lost.
