Papua New Guinea: Central Province

local name: -

This species was found only once, in the year 1890, when, as it allegedly is said, altogether 45 specimens, probably a whole colony, has been collected.

About the habits of this species unfortunately not much is known, except for the fact, that the animals spent the days roosting in groups.
