The Hawaiian Hopseed Looper Moth once occurred on the coastline of the Wai'anae Mounatains on the island of O'ahu.

Not much is known about the habits of this species, but it is known that the caterpillars fed on the leaves of the 'A'ali'i bush (Dodonaea viscosa).
