| The Yosemite Glacier
Grasshopper was scientifically described in 1984 from specimens that were
collected in the year 1940 at the Glacier Point Road in the area of the
Yosemite National Park. This species lived in alpine grasslands on high-altitude mountain slopes. It is considered most probably extinct nowadays. |
